Music: An Expression of Sound
The African Americans gained a new-found liberty through the Harlem Renaissance and expressed it through the structure of music and jazz. The musicians and singers produced the Cotton Club and the Savoy Ballroom, which did not just catch the attention of the black crowd, but white people as well, making Harlem music a rage in the 1920's and 30's.
